This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Commodity Pricing Engine (CA-GTF-CPE) component. You can use this BAdI to define a customer-specific logic (calculation routine) according to which the system is to calculate a term rate from several quotations to obtain, for example, the average, the highest, or the lowest commodity rate in a given period.

This BAdI is called during the CPE formula evaluation process.

  • You have defined the required routines and corresponding descriptions for the commodity pricing engine (CPE) in the Customizing activity Define CPE Routine for the submodule 07, Calculation Routine.
  • You have specified the valid routines and made all term-specific settings for CPE. In particular you have defined the valid calculation rule in the Customizing activity Define Calculation Rule and entered the number of your logic as the calculation routine.
  • You have created and activated an implementation of the BAdIs that are relevant for all the parts of CPE Formula Evaluation for which you want to create your own logic. In particular, you have created a results list with the stock market quotations for the specified quotation names if required by using BAdI BADI_CPE_FE_SOURCE_ROUTINE.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
