This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Plant Maintenance (PM) component. You can use this BAdI to check and adjust values that are transferred in customer-specific fields using one of the following BAPIs:

  • BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE
  • BAPI_EQUI_CREATE
  • BAPI_EQUI_CREATE_BY_REFERENCE
  • BAPI_EQUI_GETDETAIL
  • BAPI_FUNCLOC_CHANGE
  • BAPI_FUNCLOC_CREATE
  • BAPI_FUNCLOC_GETDETAIL

You have extended SAP tables that are used by one of the above-mentioned BAPIs to add customer-specific fields to technical objects.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
