BADI_ECS_AUTO_N - BAdI: ECS Automation for Owner Group Assignment

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the ECS document owner group assignment.

You can use this BAdI to influence the rules activation and to send the notification on assigning or changing of owner group

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

You can implement the following methods:

  • ACTIVATE_RULESET: This method can be used to control the activation of the BRFplus-relevant object type for owner group application. If you want to control the activation only by a few users or want to have an additional authorization check for activating the BRFplus rule set for owner group, this method can be used.
Importing parameter:
  • IV_ID: FDT: Universal unique identifier (BRF plus object ID)

  • IV_OBJECT_TYPE: BRFplus: object type (example AP – Application, RS - Ruleset, EX - expression and so on)

Exporting Parameter
  • EV_VETO: Veto for activation. If returned as true, BRF will be not be activated.

  • ET_MESSAGE: Veto Messages

  • SEND_NOTIFICATION: This method can be used to send notification on change or assignment of owner group in ECS items.
Importing parameter:
  • IT_ECS_ITEM: Table type for ECS items (key and data)

Specifies all the ECS items where the owner group is changed or assigned.
  • I_ACTIVITY: ECS process activity (01 – Create; 02 - Change owner group; 03 - Reject)
