This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Purchase Order(MM-PUR-PO) component. You can use this BAdI as part of the functionality for Grouping of Order List Items and Order Proposal Items into Purchase Orders for Store Replenishment.

The BAdI enables you to define your own business logic and to change the data that is processed by the functionality for grouping of order list items into purchase orders.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation. The BAdI is designed for single use.

For method CHANGE_BUFFER_ITEM you will find an example implementation. This example implementation supports the consideration of the F&R order date / time as ORDERING_TIME. The ORDERING_TIME defines the earliest release of a purchase order. Once the ORDERING_TIME is exceeded an existing Purchase Order cannot be changed any longer.

F&R standard scheduling always defines the beginning of the day as order date.

SAP Forecasting and Replenishment for Fresh Products Add-on supports an intra-day scheduling.
