This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Quality Notification (QM-QN) component.

You can use this BAdI to check the activity type, that is the type of processing of quality notifications, for any notification type.

The following activity types are possible:

  • H - Add (= Create)
  • V # Change
  • A # Display

The BAdI contains the following method:

  • CHECK_ACT_QTPYE
You can use this BAdI method to check the activity type of quality notifications for any notification type. If an activity type is forbidden for a specific notification type, the system can, for example, issue an error message.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

In ths standard system, the following BAdI implementation is active when the business function OPS_QM_EXTENSION_2 (Enhancements in FMEA and Quality Notifications) is activated:

  • QQM_QUM_ACT_QTYPE
The BAdI implementation forbids the creation of a notification of notification type Q9 (Complnt f.Vend.(Ext) - Complaint from Vendor (Ext.)).
