BADI_ROTSUB_STOCK - BAdI: Stock Information for Converting Planned Orders

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Subcontracting (IS-ADEC-SUC) and Rotables (IS-ADEC-ROT) components.

You can use this BAdI to make customer-specific adjustments to the stock assignment of the components to be refurbished and the serial number check. This BAdI is called during conversion of planned orders to refurbishment orders and planned orders to subcontracting purchase requisitions.

For conversion of planned orders into purchase requisition:

  • The planned order must be converted into a subcontracting purchase requisition
  • The purchase requisition must have one of the following subcontracting types:
  • 1 (refurbishment with unchanged material number)

  • 2 (refurbishment with changed material number)

  • There must be a component to be refurbished available
  • For the serial number check, the material must be a serialized material, or else serial numbers cannot be assigned.

For conversion of planned orders into refurbishment orders:

  • Planned orders can only be converted if the material in the material master is marked as an 'expendable spare' or a 'repairable spare'.
  • For the serial number check, the material must be a serialized material, or else serial numbers cannot be assigned.

The class CL_BADI_ROTSUB_STOCK_DEFAULTis delivered as default implementation for this BAdI. It contains the default implementation for the following methods:
