This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the implementation of the OData Service Receive Products (RETAILSTORE_RECEIVE_PRODUCT_SRV) in the SAP Fiori apps for in-store merchandise and inventory management (LO-RFM-STO-FIO).

You can use this BAdI to change the message mapping. Message mapping is called when documents or document items are posted. You can enhance or overwrite the SAP standard.
