This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the implementation of the OData Service Receive Products (RETAILSTORE_RECEIVE_PRODUCT_SRV) within the SAP Fiori apps for in-store merchandise and inventory management (LO-RFM-STO-FIO).

You can use this BAdI to influence the entity ScanInformation. This entity provides information related to a scanned bar code in the SAP Fiori app Receive Products. It is called when the UI requests decoding of a bar code to decide on navigation and further processing. You can enhance or overwrite the SAP standard at several different levels.
