BADI_START_CONS_EXT - Purchase Contract Determination for Structured Article Components

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Material Management (MM) component.

This BAdI allows you to override the standard logic by returning the preferred purchase contract item to be assigned to the purchase order item from the list of valid purchase contract items generated by standard logic for components of structured articles.

You can enable automatic determination of purchase contract item for components of a structured article in purchase orders provided the following conditions are true:

• You have set explosion of structured article components in the Customizing SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > > Logistics – General >> Material Master >> Retail-Specific Settings >> Settings for Structured Materials > > Structured Materials in Logistics Process. Use transaction key 100.

• You have enabled consumption and determination of purchase contract items for components of structured articles in purchase orders in the Customizing SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > > Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Purchase Orders >> Maintain Purchase Order Types for Fashion Management.
