You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to map free characteristics from financial transaction data to the financial object analysis structure in table CMM_VFIND(versioned persistencies of financial transactions).

Note, that the mapping must have been performed before saving entries of table CMM_VFIND.

The BAdI provides method UPDATE_EXPOSURE with the following interface structure:

Import Parameters:
IS_FTA_TRANSACTION
IS_FTA_ACTIVITY
IT_FTA_CASHFLOW
IT_FTA_AVERAGES
IT_FTA_MD_FIXING
IT_FTA_TRANSACTION_UNDERLYING
IT_FTA_ACTIVITY_UNDERLYING
IT_FTA_CASHFLOW_UNDERLYING
IT_FTA_CONDITIONS_UNDERLYING
IT_FTA_ADD_OTC_OPTION_DATA
IO_LOG_HANDLER
IT_TAB_CHAR_VALUE

Changing Parameter
CT_VFIND: Financial Transactions Table

You have generated the free characteristic structure in CMM_VFIND by using function module RCMM_FCHAR_GENERATE.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single, or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

To map the Portfolio field of financial transactions to the analysis structure, proceed as follows:

  1. Find the corresponding fieldname for Portfolio in the financial object analysis structure.
  2. Perform the mapping with the BAdI implementation.

For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the enhancement framework, see http://help.sap.com/nw_platform. Choose a release and then Application Help → Function-Oriented View → Application Server → Application Server ABAP → Application Development on AS ABAP → Customer-Specific ABAP Development → Enhancement Framework.
