This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Sales and Distribution - Point of Sale (SD-POS) component. You can use this BAdI to change the package size during a POS download.
As long as the BAdI is not implemented, a default value that is calculated by the system is used as the package size. This default value is determined as follows:
- For the package size, take the maximum number of segments allowed in the IDocs that have message type WP_PLU or WP_EAN.
- If this maximum is smaller than 5000, then the package size is set to 5000.
You start a POS download using transaction WPMI (initial download) or using transaction WPMU (changes).

The Business Add-In depends on the filter POS_MODE. This filter can have the following values:
- I, if an initial POS download is started
- U, if a change POS download is started
The Business Add-In is not designed for multiple use.
The Business Add-In is not delivered in an implemented state.
