BA_CA_IVA_V_TBKKCRBD - Activate Reserve for Bad Debt (RBD)

In this IMG activity, you activate or deactivate the component Reserve for Bad Debt(RBD). You use RBD to manage individual value adjustments and loss on receivables.

Note:

After the RBD component is activated:

• You can switch back to the Bank Customer Accounts(BCA) individual value adjustment (IVA) feature only in a development or test system. In a production system, you cannot switch back to the BCA IVA feature.

• You cannot use any individual value adjustment transactions in BCA.

Before switching from the BCA IVA feature to RBD or conversely from RBD to BCA IVA, ensure that the following activities are carried out:

• The IVA entries that were created by the previous solution have been posted

• Balance sheet preparation has been carried out for the loss on receivables and IVA entries that were posted by the previous solution

In the standard delivery, RBD is notactivated.
