BBP_BUHI_VEND - Change Supplier Hierarchy Types

With this BAdI (BBP_BUHI_VEND) you can replace standard hierarchy category S0 with your own hierarchy category.

Business Scenarios

The BAdI is not implemented specifically for a certain scenario.

Technical Scenarios

The BAdI can be implemented with all technical scenarios in the SRM System.

In order to implement the BAdI, the following prerequisite must be fulfilled:

• You have maintained your own hierarchy category in the IMG activity Define Hierarchy Category.

Note the following standard settings:

• In the standard the BAdI is not active.

• In the standard the hierarchy category is S0.

After calling up the IMG activity, proceed as follows:

1. In the dialog box enter a name for the BAdI implementation in the Implementation field and choose Transfer.

If implementations have already been created for the BAdI, a dialog box appears with the existing implementations. Choose Createhere.

1. Enter a short text for the implementation in the appropriate field.
2. Enter filter properties on the Propertiestab if the BAdI is filter-dependent.
3. Choose the Interface tab.

The name of the implementing class is generated by the system based on the name of your implementation. The name can be changed.

1. Save your entries and assign a package.
2. Position the cursor in each case on a method. Call up the class builder with a double-click.
3. Enter your coding for the implementation between the instructions method IF_EX_BADI_BUHI_VEND~GET_CATEGORY. and endmethod..
4. Save and activate your coding and navigate back to the screen Change Implementation.
5. Save on the screen Change Implementation.

Note: You can first create an implementation for a BAdI and activate it later. In this case you now close the processing.

1. Choose Activate.

When the application program is carried out, the coding you have createdis run through.
