You use this activity to define how catalog content is to be imported from the content load workbench into the product master.

You specify:

  • Whether you want content load without errors to be transferred automatically to the product master
To transfer content load that does not contain errors automatically into the product master, choose No dialog under Catalog Import. This is the default setting. If this flag is not set, the content load is held in the content staging area. The system administrator can then transfer the load manually.
  • Whether you want content load to be transferred using the SAP Business Connector
The default setting is for the content load to be transferred in this way. If you want to transfer the content load using the Exchange Infrastructure, deselect via Business Connector.
  • Whether you want to transfer attachments to the product master
To transfer attachments to the product master, set the flag Import attachments (default setting) under Control Import of Attachments.
  • How you want to handle missing vendor mapping
Select one of the following:
  • Error message

If no mapping exists for a vendor, an error message is output. Before the content load can be transferred to the product master, mapping must be completed.
  • Ignore vendors without mapping

Products from vendors without mapping are not transferred to the product master.
  • How you want to handle missing product attribute mapping
Select one of the following:
  • Error message

If no mapping exists for product attributes, an error message is output. Before the content load can be transferred to the product master, mapping must be completed.
  • Ignore attributes without mapping

Product attributes without mapping are not transferred to the product master.
  • Transfer attributes without mapping to catalog data set of product master

Product attributes without mapping are transferred to the product master as name/value pairs.
