You can use the Business Add-In BBP_DP_PROD_CHK_BADI to determine whether a product can be ordered as a direct material.

In the standard system, a product can be ordered as a direct material if it belongs to material category and was replicated to EBP from a backend system.

The following parameters are available to you in the PRODUCT_CHECK method.

  • Import
    IS_PRODUCT (Product)
  • Export
    EV_DP_FLAG (Set this indicator to allow the product to be ordered as a direct material)
