BBP_PPOCV_BBP - Create Supplier Groups

In this IMG activity, you create a supplier root, to which vendor groups are assigned. Each supplier group can contain up to 100 suppliers. During replication, a new supplier group is automatically created. As soon as the first supplier group contains 100 suppliers, a second supplier group is created and the 101st supplier is added to this supplier group.

You must have defined a backend system and the corresponding logical backend system, as well as the RFC destination.

1. Enter the validity of the supplier root you want to create when prompted and choose Enter.
2. The supplier root is automatically created and is displayed on the right pane: go to the Description tab and change the abbreviation and description according to your needs.
3. Save your entries.

You can now create supplier groups under the newly created supplier root. To do so, select the supplier root and choose Create. During replication, new suppliers are automatically added to the supplier group.
