BBP_SIMU_MESSAGE - Influence Message Control for Invoice Simulation
BAL Application Log Documentation SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3upThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you can influence the entire simulation functionality for an invoice, and the messages that occur here.
- You can deactivate invoice simulation entirely with the result that you do not need any control settings for simulation messages.
- You can activate invoice simulation with a results screen. There are three possible control options for this. These are described in the next section below.
- You can activate invoice simulation but not display the results screen. The following control options are available for simulation messages that occur here:
- All messages from the invoice simulation are ignored.
- Warning (W) messages from invoice simulation are treated as error (E) messages. This results in a document that has errors (incomplete document). This means that it is no longer possible to perform actions that are only possible for complete documents.
- E messages from the invoice simulation are treated like W messages, with the result that the messages are passed on as mere warning messages to the user. The original E message (now a W message) does not result in a document with errors (incomplete document). This means that you can perform all actions that are possible for complete documents.
The quantity of controllable messages is predefined. See also Influence Message Control.
