BBP_SUS_ARCH_RESI - Define Residence Times for Documents

In this IMG activity, you specify the period of time that must elapse before a SUS document (of the object type SUS Purchase Order, SUS Purchase Order Response, SUS ASN, SUS Confirmation, or SUS Invoice) is archived, or at least fulfills this criterion for archiving.

The residence time is merely a check criterion that is used for selecting SUS documents for archiving.

Only make settings here if you wish to use SAP archive administration to archive documents.

You have made the relevant settings for Cross-Archiving Object Customizing (see documentation in Knowledge Warehouse) and for Archiving Object-Specific Customizing ( documentation) in the IMG for SAP Web Application Server → System Administration → Data Archiving.

1. Use the input help (F4) to select the documents for archiving.
2. In the Residence Time field, enter the number of days that a document must be in the system before it is archived.

If the residence time is one month, then only documents will be archived that fulfill all of the check criteria and have remained unchanged in the system for longer than one month. Documents that were changed less than a month ago, or that do not fulfill the check criteria, will remain in the system.
