BCA_MD_AC_REL_RULES - Set Up Release Rules for Master Data

In this Customizing activity, you define which master data change (or creation) should be checked and released by an employee who has the required authorization.

For more information, see SAP Library for SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7or SAP ERP 6.0 EHP8 under SAP ERP Central Component-> Accounting-> SAP Banking-> Bank Customer Accounts (BCA)-> Current Account Master Data-> Account-> Releasing an Account.

You have activated at least one check block in Customizing activity Switch On Check Blocks for Release Check.

Enter a unique name and a description for the Release Rule, select the line and choose Edit.

The dialog box Release Rule appears.

Select from the folders those fields that are to be used for the release relevance check, and enter the relevant selection values.

Choose Execute.
Save your entries.

You want an additional employee to check the master data for all newly created accounts. Create a release rule with the following setting:

Activity to Be Checked: 01

In bank area 0001, the creation or change of fixed-term deposits with a deposit of >= 1000 EUR is to be release relevant:

Folder General:,,Bank Area: 0001

Folder FTD: Master Data:,,Deposit: 1,000.00 to 999,999,999,999,999.99

In bank area 0001, all changes to the account holder are to be release relevant:

Activity to Be Checked: 02

Folder Account Holder:	Bank Area: 0001
Business Partner: ' ' to ZZZZZZZZZZ

Folder Account Holder (Original Values):,,Business Partner: ' ' to ZZZZZZZZZZ
