Warehouse-Number-Dependent Customizing - Basic Data - /SCWM/BASIC_WHS_INDEP

You can use this BC Set to create warehouse-number-dependent Customizing.

You can only activate BC Set /SCWM/BASIC_WHS_INDEP under the following conditions:

• When setting up a system

• For restoring sample Customizing entries

Prerequisite

You have maintained Customizing for the factory calendar, currencies and units of measurement.

By activating BC Sets, the system writes the values stored in the BC Set into the tables in the activation system. Doing this overwrites any existing entries in the original tables.

Before the activation, check whether entries already exist. Entries that have the same key are overwritten by the data from the BC Set.

Customizing Activities

The system uses this BC Set to create Customizing entries for the following activities. All entries are warehouse-number-dependent.

• Define Warehouse Product Group

• Define Handling Indicator

• Define Warehouse Storage Condition

• Define Packaging Material Types for Warehousing

• Define Packing Groups for Products

• Maintain Allowed Packaging Material Types for Packing Group

• Define Stock Types

• Process-Oriented Storage Control --> External Storage Process Step

Read the documentation for the respective Customizing activities.

For detailed information about the concrete Customizing entries created by the BC Set, see the SAP menu under Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Setsor BC Set Contents /SCWM/BASIC_WHS_INDEP.

After entering the BC Set, you can use the display and print functions to display the contents of the Customizing tables.

Activation

You can activate BC Sets from the SAP menu, by choosing Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Sets.

Use the activation log to check that the BC Set was activated without errors.

You can ignore any warning messages for object /SCWM/VC_TROUTP.
