Customizing Quality Management - /SCWM/QM
You can use this BC Set to create special Customizing for Quality Management for an existing warehouse number, restore the sample Customizing entries for warehouse number 0001, or create warehouse-number-independent Customizing entries for Quality Management.
BC Set /SCWM/QM contains the following BC Sets:
- /SCWM/QM_INDEP
- This is used to create warehouse-number-independent Customizing entries for Quality Management. You must activate this BC Set only once.
- /SCWM/QM_NR
- This is used to create warehouse-number-independent number ranges for Quality Management. You must activate this BC Set only once.
- /SCWM/QM_WHS
- This is used to create warehouse-number-dependent Customizing entries for an existing warehouse number. All entries are warehouse-number-dependent. You can activate this BC Set as many times as you require.

Read the documentation for the respective Customizing activities.
For detailed information about concrete Customizing entries created through the BC Set, see the SAP menu under Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Setsor under Contents of BC Set /SCWM/QM.
After selecting a BC Set you can use the display and printing functions.
Prerequisites
- BC Set for creating warehouse-number-independent Customizing
- BC Set for creating warehouse-number-dependent Customizing
- BC Set for creating cross-process Customizing
By activating BC Sets, the system writes the values stored in the BC Set into the tables of the activation system. Doing this also overwrites any existing entries in the original tables.
Before activation, check whether entries already exist. The system overwrites any entries that have identical keys with data from the BC Set.
Variables
You can define the following fields for the activation. The default value displayed is the value entered in the BC Set (in parentheses). You can overwrite these values:
- 01_WarehouseNumber (0001)
- Enter the same value for the warehouse number that appears in BC Set /SCWM/BASICS.
Actions Prior to Activation
To be able to import BC Sets, you must generate version 1 for inspection object types 1 to 5:
Activation
You must activate the BC Sets in the following sequence:
- /SCWM/QM_INDEP
- /SCWM/QM_NR
- /SCWM/QM_WHS
You can activate BC Sets from the SAP menu under Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Sets.
Use the activation log to check that the BC Set has been activated without errors.
You can ignore any warning message for objects /SCWM/VC_QDEFECT and /SCWM/VC_QFUCODE.
Actions After the Activation
- Activation of inspection object types:
- Define properties that you want to use when searching for a suitable inspection rule, and put them in a sequence that is relevant for the inspection rule determination, corresponding to the level of detail for your search.
- Activation of inspection object type - warehouse-number-dependent
- In this Customizing activity, you define the warehouse-dependent activation of an inspection object type.
