You can use this BC Set to create special Customizing for using serial numbers.

You can only activate BC Set /SCWM/SN when setting up a system or restoring sample Customizing entries for warehouse number 0001.

BC Set /SCWM/SN contains the following BC Sets:

• /SCWM/SN_WH_INDEP
  For creating warehouse-number-independent Customizing entries for the serial numbers

• /SCWM/SN_WH_SETTINGS
  For creating warehouse-number-dependent Customizing entries for an existing warehouse number

IMG Activities

This BC Set creates Customizing entries for the following activities:

• Define Warehouse-Number-Independent Serial Number Profiles

• Serial Numbers: Settings for Warehouse Number

Read the documentation for the respective IMG activities.

For detailed information about the concrete Customizing entries created by the BC Set, see the SAP menu under Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Sets

After selecting the BC Set, you can use the display and print functions.

Prerequisite

BC Set for creating warehouse-number-independent Customizing

BC Set for creating warehouse-number-dependent Customizing

By activating BC Sets, the system writes the values stored in the BC Set into tables in the activation system. Doing this overwrites any existing entries in the original tables.

Before the activation, check whether entries already exist. The system overwrites entries with the same key with the data from the BC Set.

Variables

You can define the following fields in the activation. The value entered in the BC Set is displayed as a proposal (in parentheses). You can overwrite this value.

• 01_WarehouseNumber (0001)
  Enter the same value for the warehouse number as in the BC Set /SCWM/BASICS.

• 12_BaseUnitofMeasure (PC)
  Enter a valid unit of measure.

Activation

You can activate BC Sets from the SAP menu by choosing Tools -→ Customizing -→ Business Configuration Sets -→ Activation of BC Sets.

Use the activation log to check that the BC Set was activated without errors.
