Use
You use this BC set to define the following:
- IPEDS award levels
- IPEDS student levels
- IPEDS ethnic groups
- IPEDS deregistration reasons
- IPEDS sports types
- IPEDS sports type codes
The system requires these definitions so that it can classify students in accordance with IPEDS.
You also use this BC set to create the infotype 1790, which the system requires to derive the IPEDS Unit ID from the organizational unit.
Finally, you also use this BC set to assign the IPEDS report sections to the relevant DMEE format trees, so that the system can store the report data in the required format in the electronic file.
