In this IMG activity, you define the extract type in the Customer Relationship Managment Rebate (CRMR) application. The extract type determines the:

• Accounting document type for posting to Financial Accounting

• The pricing procedure for rebate determination

• Whether a posting block is assigned

Check the extract types that are required in Customer Relationship Management within your enterprise, and establish whether you can adopt one of the extract types as delivered in the standard configuration.

If this is the case, you can copy the contents of the standard extract type and assign your own identifier to it. Otherwise, you need to define your own extract types.
