In rebate processing, you have the option to change the value of payments made by the system when rebates are processed.

To do this, you create a filter value that you must then assign to the appropriate Business Add-In (BAdI); the filter controls which BAdI implementation runs when rebates are processed.

  1. Select New Entries on the initial screen to create a user-defined filter value.
  2. Select the application in which you are working from the input help for the Application field.
  3. Enter a user-defined identifier for your filter value in the Filter ID field.
  4. Etner a user-defined description for your filter value in the Filter Descriptionfield.
  5. Save your entries.
  6. Once you have created a filter value, you have to assign it to the corresponding BAdI implementation. You do this in the IMG for Customer Relationship Management under Rebate Processing -> System Enhancements → Business Add-Ins → BAdI: Adjust Payment Value.
  7. Finally, you have to assign the filter value to the corresponding calculation profile. You do this in the IMG for Customer Relationship Management under Rebate Processing -> Rebate Profiles -> Calculation Profiles -> Define Calculation Profile.
