This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Rebate Processing (CRM-RB) component.

You can use this BAdI to change the base that is used to calculate the payment value, when settling a rebate due list.

You have maintained a calculation profile and a corresponding filter for base calculation. You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Rebate Processing -> Rebate Profiles -> Calculation Profiles.

Create a BAdI implementation and assign the corresponding filter for base calculation to the implementation.

You want to include the sales for a given month as weighted values in the total base. You therefore implement a method in which the individual cumulation periods can be weighted and added to the total base.
