In this activity, you can access the billing engine navigator in order to make changes in the billing engine framework. The billing engine framework is a tool for generating billing engine applications. It contains metadata, templates defined in the metadata, and also the objects generated from the metadata. It also provides a range of functions for analyzing available metadata.

The full scope of functions in the billing engine navigator is required mainly when developing a billing engine application. However, you can also use the billing engine navigator, for example, to do the following:

• Trigger regeneration after the manual implementation of an SAP Note

• Make modifications using the enhancement concept of the billing engine framework, for example:

• Adding new fields and integrating them into the process in subscriptions

• Making modifications to selection screens or indexes
