Client Copy Tool

The tools for client copy are used to set up and maintain clients within an SAP System.

The following 5 tools are available:

1. local client copy (SCCL)
2. remote client copy between two systems with RFC means (SCC9)
3. client transport between 2 systems with tp transports (export: SCC8, processing after import SCC7)
4. delete client (SCC5)
5. client copy with transport requests

The first three tools are used to set up a new client in a system.

The tool to delete clients is used to completely delete a client from a system.

With the client copy via transport requests, you can copy the contents of transport requests between 2 clients within a system.

The log of the client copy can be looked at with transaction SCC3.
