The goal of the regulatory reporting process is to assign all amounts in natural G/L accounts to regulatory G/L accounts.

The flow of cost paths created from outgoing secondary costs in CO are used to assign natural G/L expenses to regulatory G/L expense accounts.

The account balances for natural balance sheet and revenue accounts, and for a limited number of special expense accounts are posted directly to corresponding regulatory G/L accounts.

You can reach the Regulatory Reporting menu by entering the transaction code FERC into the Command field.
