BPEOP_CURR_SYSID - Define Current System ID

In this Customizing activity, you can assign an ID to the system you are currently working in to make it clearly identifiable within the system landscape. A system requires an ID in the following cases:
- The current system is defined as the leading system of a system group.
- The current system is defined as a dependent system in a system group and has a specific connection type to leading system assigned (RFC/ Service) that is different from the default connection to leading system defined for that group.
In all other cases, the assignment of an ID to a system is optional.
Before you can assign an ID to your current system, you must make sure that the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
- You have activated the advanced system landscape registration in Customizing activityMaintain Process Parameters.
- You have defined systems for business partner master data blocking/ unblocking in Customizing activity Define Systems.
In the System IDfield, call the F4 help and select a system ID from the list. The system IDs to choose from are derived from the system list you defined in Customizing activity Define Systems. Choose Save.
