In this Customizing activity, you can maintain business object-specific residence periods. A residence period is used to archive entries of the corresponding business object (BO).

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. In the Business Object field, enter the name of the business object (BO) to which the residence period must be assigned.
  3. In the Gen. BO Typefield, enter the general BO type.
  4. Under Nodes, enter the name of the node.
  5. In the Residence Period field, enter the number of days.
  6. Choose Save.
