COCB320 - Define and Set Up Process Message Categories

Every process message that you want to send via process management must be assigned to a process instruction category.

In this section, you define the message categories that you want to use in your plant. For each message category, you specify

• the information to be contained in messages of the category (via characteristic assignments)

• the destination to which the messages should be sent

• the destination fields to which the values of the individual message characteristics should be transferred
