COCB350 - Define Background Job for Deleting

In this IMG activity, you define a background job for deleting process messages and their logs. You specify

• whether you want to delete message logs only or messages as well

• the criteria to be used to select the messages to be deleted

• whether deletion logs are to be created

• when the background job is to be started

• Define selection variant

• Define background job

The deletion program can also be started manually from the process management menu. If you use this option, you can choose other selection criteria than those defined for the background job.
