In this activity you define the XCM parameter names with which the UIs for product configuration can be called using the Configuration Engine.

The XCM parameter determines a set of UI specific customizing that can be changed via the XCM Administrator.

The XCM Application Configuration exists in the web application. You may create the XCM setting using the XCM Administrator. The XCM Administrator is part of the web application and can be started using ://admin

Suppress Display of Prices in Configuration UI

To improve performance during order processing, enter the parameter behavior.hideprices and set the parameter value to T.

This setting means that prices are not generated nor displayed on the configuration screen. This leads to improved performance since the system does not have to make the backend calls required to display prices on the configuration UI.

Create two entries for the two different caller types crmordermaintain (transaction crmd_order) and crmproductsimulation (transaction commpr01)

205 caller crmordermaintain scenario.xcm <name of the XCM Application Configuration>

205 caller crmproductsimulation scenario.xcm <name of the XCM Application Configuration>

If you want to us the product configurator that is part of Web Channel Experience Management, add the parameter wec_appid. With this parameter the correct application ID is called.
