COM_PRODUCT_IDPROFIL - Assign ID Profile to Product Type

In this activity, you assign an alternative ID profile to a product type. This determines which search parameters are available in the locator in product maintenance.

If a profile is not assigned, only the normal search parameters can be used to search for a product in product maintenance. These are the product ID, description, distribution chain, and category. By assigning a profile to the product type, you can search for products using the ID types contained in this profile.
