COM_PRODUCT_OBJTYPE - Define Object Types

In this activity, you maintain the object types you need for the event history of your application. In an event history record, the object type is stored along with the object GUID to show which object type the object belongs to, thus making the object easier to find in the system.
In the activity Define Interpretation of Links and Extracts you can specify which event types are relevant for which object types and also set technical parameters for the interpretation of links and extracts for each of the possible combinations.
In the standard setup, several object types are provided, for example A0601 for vehicles and A0701 for software entitlements.
