SAP E-Book

In this activity, you can register any applications from the product master or individual objects areas that you created in blueprint customizing.

Note that you can use transaction COMMPR_PCUI to update new applications created in the People-Centric UI with set types that already exist or new set types.

Applications that already exist in the standard system are delivered as Customizing entries.
Add new Customizing entries for any new applications or roles you create.

  1. Enter the application you created or modified in the People-Centric UI in the Application field.
  2. Enter your new view in the View field, or leave the field empty if you are not working with views.
  3. Enter the product type that applies to this application/view/variant.
  4. If set types belonging to individual objects are to be generated in your applications, enter the object family. Leave the field empty for products.
  5. Enter the organization type to which the relevant set types belong. For example, 00 for not organization-dependent.
  6. Enter the screen variant if you are using screen variants in the blueprint tables. They are used in the product master in the People-Centric UI to differentiate between 'Service' and 'Material'.
Screen variants used in the blueprint tables are specified in the Customizing activity Define Application Layout (Customer Relationship Management -> Layout of User Interface (People-Centric UI) -> Application/Layout).
  7. In the Group Tab Page field, enter the key used in the blueprint table (Customizing activity Define Application Layout).

If you are working with several product types or object families in an application, make the appropriate number of entries in the Customizing table. If you have several group tab pages, views, or screen variants, again make the appropriate number of entries.

Caution

Any applications, views, and screen variants that you do not enter will not be updated according to the object family, product type, organizational dependency of the relevant set types.
Do not enter any applications, roles, screen variants, or group tab pages that do not exist in your system. Check they exist before making any entries in this Customizing table.
