You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to copy the relationship types when you create a copy of an intellectual property (IP).

If you activate the BAdI implementation COM_PROD_COPY_IPM, the system copies relationships of the following interlinkage types from the source IP to the new IP:

  • Part
  • Package Part
  • Underlying Component
  • Underlying Component (Granting Ref.)
  • Underlying Title
  • Title Grouping
  • Related Material
  • Involved Party

In the standard system, the relationship types are not copied from the source IP to the new IP.
