CORRESPOND_BP_ROLES - Define Role Types for Correspondence

In this IMG activity you can divide a role category of the SAP Business Partner into further subgroups (role types) for the purpose of generating correspondence. You can then generate different documents or letters for these role types. The system offers these role types in the input help for the Role Typefield, for example on the Partner tab page in the functions for processing mortgage loans.

Within Loans Managementyou use the SAP Business Partner role Main Loan Partner (TR0100) for correspondence. However you do not want to send the same letter to all of your business partners in the role of Main Loan Partner but want to distinguish between private and corporate customers.

You create the role types Commercial Customer (G100) and Private Customer (P100) and assign these to the role category Main Loan Partner (TR0100). You can then enter your correspondence role types as roles for the category Main Loan Partner (TR0100) in the loan processing functions.
