You can use this enhancement implementation to automatically determine the capacity category and split number of an operation.

As the Shop Floor Dispatching and Monitoring Tool works with operations that are assigned to individual capacities of work centers, it is necessary that at least one individual capacity is assigned to a work center capacity. The further processing and monitoring of operations is based on these individual capacities, which are also known as splits.

In order to display the degree of processing of an operation in the tool, you need to enter the work center and the split number on the confirmation screen (transaction CO11N) when confirming an operation. If the split number is not entered, the degree of processing related to this operation gets lost or is not displayed in the tool. If you do not usually enter the split number manually, this enhancement implementation automatically determines the capacity category and split number of the operation. Therefore, you are not forced to change your confirmation input steps and the degree of processing is displayed correctly.

If the full operation quantity is assigned to one split of an operation, it is no longer necessary to enter a split number on the confirmation screen. Using the implementation of BAdI method AT_SAVE, the system automatically enters the capacity category and the split number of the assigned capacity requirement.
