This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used for the integration of production orders with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and called for the confirmation of distributed production orders.

In the standard SAP system, you cannot enter any quantity confirmations in ERP for production orders that have been distributed to an MES. This ensures data consistency between ERP and the MES. In case of errors, you receive the message CO_MES_INT004.

However, in exceptional cases, it might be necessary in your business process to confirm such operations in ERP. The BAdI gives you the option to perform a quantity confirmation of individual operations of a distributed production order in ERP or to activate the ERP confirmation for distributed production orders as a whole.

You have made the settings for distributing production orders according to the description in the introductory document.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

The BAdI can be used once only.

The BAdI is not filter-dependent.

To activate this BAdI, you need to create an active implementation.
