CPEV_REFDATEROUT - Choose Reference Date and Time Routines

The commodity pricing engine (CPE) can use several reference dates for its period determination. For performance reasons it is better to use only the required subset of reference dates instead of all possible dates. In this IMG activity you define the subset required for your application(s).

If you want to use your own CPE reference date routines, you must first define them.

The following namespaces are valid for the routines:

0000000 - 0009999: General CPE routines from SAP
0010000 - 0019999: Industry-specific routines from SAP
0020000 - 0029999: Routines from SAP partners
0030000 - 0099999: Customer-specific routines
0100000 - 9999999: not used yet

The following namespaces are valid for the rules:
00000 - 0ZZZZ: General CPE rules from SAP
10000 - 8ZZZZ: Industry-specific rules from SAP
90000 - 9ZZZZ: Rules from SAP partners
A0000 - ZZZZZ: Customer-specific rules

If your reference date routine is applicable
- for only ERP Materials Management, select application 'M'
- for only ERP Sales and Distribution, select application 'V'
- for both applications, select 'V/M'.
