Set parameters for the determination of subprocedures in sales.

In this step, you can define the parameters that you want to use in a formula for subprocedure determination.

In this step, you can define the parameters for the usage A01(Subproc. V) that you want to use in a formula for subprocedure determination.

For each parameter name entered, you can use a referenced data type belonging to the data category needed.

Recommendation

For the formula, only use parameters related to fields of the communication header for pricing (KOMK).

If you want to use your own data source routine with your own parameters, you must have defined it in the Define Data Source Routineactivity.

Before you can add a custom field to the parameter catalog, the custom field must exist in the extensibility business context Sales: Pricing Communication Head. Developers can create custom fields for all business contexts in the Custom Fieldsapp. For more information, search for 'Custom Fields'in the relevant version of SAP S/4HANA Cloud on SAP Help Portal.

You cannot delete parameters that are already used in a formula.

To define a parameter, select a parameter name and then choose ENTER.

To define a parameter, you select attributes as follows:

  1. The Referenced Data Type can be one of the following data type categories:
  • CPF Custom Structure

  • CPF Elementary Data Type

  • Data Element

  1. Data Source Routine: Once selected, the system checks the selected data source routine against the selected referenced data type.
If you don't make an entry in the parameter catalog, you must enter a parameter value manually in the document.

If the data source routine retrieves a character, string it cannot be assigned to a parameter with a numeric data type.
