CRMC_ACCPL_BWG - Define Parameters for SAP NetWeaver BI Analysis

In this IMG activity, you define the SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) analyses you wish to display in account planning.

These reports are created in SAP NetWeaver BI but can be displayed directly in the account planning application area so that you can analyze your account planning directly.

In account planning, you go to the overview page and select the analysis you wish to execute in the assignment block Analysis and navigate directly to SAP NetWeaver BI.

You have created a query in SAP NetWeaver BI and, on the basis of this, generated a Web template in the BEx Web Application Designer.

Enter the following information in the IMG activity:

1. The SAP NetWeaver BI analysis ID

This is a number that can be freely defined (for example, 00000005).

1. A BI report ID

This ID is defined in the IMG activityDisplay SAP NetWeaver Reports in CRM.

1. The variable name for the Web report

This information is taken from the query and is a variable name of the filter characteristic 0CRM_MKTELM (CRM Marketing Element). The variable value is an external ID for the marketing object that you wish to display in the planning layout. For example, the characteristic 0CRM_MKTELM may have a variable with the name 0S_MKELM. If you use this variable in your query as a filter, you enter 0S_MKELM in the Variable field.

You want to perform a pre-evaluation of an account plan while it is running without any discounts or trade spends, and then produce a final evaluation of the account plan with some discounts or trade spends. Following these evaluations, you would like to compare the values.
