In this IMG activity, you define action profiles and actions for Account Planning. An action profile is a collection area for actions in a specific application. All relevant application data can be transferred to the Post Processing Framework using an instance of the context class. If you have maintained the context class at the application level, it does not have to be entered again here when it is created from new. It is copied as the default value. The same applies for the date profile and object type.

The common profile indicator specifies that a profile is used as common profile. A common profile can be inserted in other action profiles. Therefore, the actions from the common profile can be used in the current profile.

  1. Go to transaction PPF: Applications in Customizing (SPPFCADM).
  2. Add a new application with the following information:
    1. Appl.: CRM_ACC_PL
    2. Description: Account Planner
    3. Obj. Type: BUS20110

You can configure an action definition in various ways:

  • Processing Time (immediate processing, when the document is posted, later using a selection report)
  • Processing Times Not Permitted: Here you can enter the processing times that make no sense for this action. The action order confirmation may be processed after document editing is complete or using the selection report. The time immediate is entered here as a time that is not allowed.
  • Schedule Automatically: If you set this indicator, the action is scheduled automatically provided the schedule condition is fulfilled. If it is not set, the action appears in the worklist and can be scheduled manually by the agent for document editing.
  • Sort Order for Display: Define the order in which the actions in the document for runtime be displayed, provided a user interface is included
  • Delete After Processing: If you set this indicator, the system executes the action and then deletes it
  • Executable in Dialog: If you set this indicator, the action can take place during document editing, even though no posting has yet taken place
  • Display in Toolbox: If you set this indicator, it specifies that the action is to be displayed on the Generic Object Services toolbar (provided the service is used)
  • PartnerFunction: In this field you specify the default function of the partner to which the action goes
  • Partner-Dependent: If you set this indicator, it specifies that the system performs a partner determination
  • Determination Technology: In this field, you select which type of determination is to be used for this action definition
  • Action Merging: In this field, you select a technology for the merging of actions.
  • Sort Field 1 - 3: These fields contain application-specific data that is supplied in the action profile class. You can sort display or processing according to this data
  • In the Action Description, you can enter details about the action, which can be displayed by the agent for document editing

Processing Options for Smart Forms

Actions always occur using the execution of a processing. Currently, Smart Forms are supported as print, fax or mail, plus the triggering of workflows and any method call. Add a separate configuration for every processing. The settings made here serve as default values and can be overridden in the conditions.

In the Smart Forms processing options, enter the name of the Smart Form used, and a processing class with a processing method, programmed for this purpose.
