CRMC_CANCEL_RULES - Define Cancellation Rules

In this Customizing activity, you define cancellation rules. A cancellation rule consists of the following elements:

• Notice period

• Latest receipt date of the contract cancellation

• Start date of the notice period

• End date of the notice period

• Time interval

• Maximum number of dates that a cancellation rule is effective

You have defined date rules in Customizing for Service under Basic Functions -> Date Management -> Define Date Types, Duration Types and Date Rules.

SAP delivers several cancellation rules. We recommend that you do not change these rules. If required, copy and modify them to suit your business requirements.

When you create short descriptions and long texts for date rules, ensure that they are unique, as some of the long texts assigned to date rules may be displayed on the user interface.

The keys you use for custom cancellation rules may not commence with a question mark.
