CRMC_IPM_PARALEL - Define Parallel Processing for the Rights Availability Analysis

In this activity you make the settings required to perform the rights availability analysis in parallel.

This distributes the program between several parallel work processes to shorten the runtime.

Can you use the "Parallel Processing Active" button to switch parallel processing on or off.

You can define the maximum number of parallel work processes to be used in the "MaxNumber.Paral.Jobs" field. If you do not make any entry here, the maximum number of free work processes are used.

You can enter the number of IPs to be transferred to a work process in a package in the "Package Size" field. The size of the package affects the runtime. If the package size is small, the amount of administration required during parallel processing is relatively large. If the package size is very large, not all of the free work processes may be used.
If no entry is made here, the package size is calculated so that the number of packages matches the number of free work processes.

The server group required is selected in the "Logon/Server Group" field. (Group type = S, Table RZLLITAB) Server groups are only used internally for load distribution in background jobs.
