Mass change processes are only intended for change processes at header level in service contracts for which you have set the Mass Change indicator in Customizing activity Assign Change Process IDs to Transaction Category.

You can use transaction Delete Mass Change Processes, which you can find in the menu under Service, to delete previously executed mass change processes that are no longer needed, effectively freeing up memory space in the database.
