In this activity, you classify and assign processors to workflows in the area of 'Campaign automation'. First, you must have performed Standard settings for the SAP business workflow.

The workflows are scheduled or executed automatically when the campaign is started (start button in campaign automation). For this reason, no event linkages need to be performed for these workflow templates.

The following workflow templates must be classified as General task:

  • WS14000060Start Campaign Process
The start node of the process automatically triggers the workflow CRM_CA0 Start Campaign Process. This workflow schedules the next workflow that is assigned to the next campaign element in the process. It cannot be assigned to a campaign element but is triggered automatically whenever a campaign is started.
  • WS14000061Send Target Group to Channel
This workflow can be assigned to any campaign element but not to campaign elements that are to be used for direct response processing.
Required parameter: Communication Medium, Segment (Target Group)
  • WS14000062Create Target Group
This workflow can be assigned to any campaign element but not to campaign elements that are to be used for direct response processing. It generates a target group based on the segment that is assigned to the campaign element.
    Required parameter: Segment (Profile)
  • WS14000063Create Target Group and Send to Channel
This workflow can be assigned to any campaign element but not to campaign elements that are to be used for direct response processing. It works in the same way as Create Target Group but executes the step right away.
Required parameter: Communication Medium, Segment (Profile)
  • WS14000064Send E-Mail to Person Responsible
This workflow can be assigned to any campaign element in the process. The only purpose of this element is to send an e-mail to the person responsible for this step. The e-mail content is not the text in the workflow but the content of the mail form assigned to the step.
Required parameter: Mail form, campaign element description, person responsible or partner function.
  • WS14000065 Approval by Person Responsible
This workflow can be used if you wish to perform a milestone approval for a certain step within a process. A workflow e-mail is sent to the person responsible for this step.
Required parameter: Person responsible or corresponding partner function.
  • WS14000066Add BP to Target Group
This workflow can be used for any campaign element which is to be used for direct response processing. It is used to add a customer/prospect responding in a certain way to a segment assigned to a campaign element. Required parameter: Segment (Target group)
  • WS14000067Remove BP from Target Group
This workflow is a supplement to Add BP to Target Group. It is used to remove a customer/prospect responding in a certain way to the segment assigned to campaign element.
    Required parameter: Segment (Target group)
  • WS14000068Start Target Group Optimization
This workflow is assigned to the campaign element preceding an optimization element. It triggers the split of a target group according to the business constraints defined in the optimization element and assigns the split target groups to the campaign elements succeeding the optimization element.
Required parameter: Segment (Target Group), Optimization Node (Successor).
  • WS14000069Send Responder to Channel
This workflow can be assigned to any campaign element that follows a decision node. It is used to directly contact the customer/prospect that responded to the step preceding the decision node.
    Required parameter: Communication medium
  • WS14000070Start Follow-Up Step Without Execution
If you require additional workflow functionality to model your campaign processes, you can use this workflow as a template. It already contains parameters and implementation methods that are used within a campaign process.
    Required parameter: None
  • WS15100040 Start Media Campaign
This workflow does not start campaign execution. It assumes that execution (for example, in print media) occurs offline. Responses to the campaign execution can be re-entered in the process model.
    Required parameter: None

For each step, the possible processors must be specified in order to clearly define organizational responsibilities for processing. In campaign automation, this assignment only needs to be performed for the task TS14008004(authorization by person responsible) from workflow WS14000065.

Perform the activity and open the Assign processors to taskssegment. Select the workflow template or the standard task and classify it using the Characteristicsbutton as a 'General task'.Alternatively, you can also assign the appropriate processor directly.
