In this IMG activity, you can:
- Define Action Profiles for the Post Processing Framework
- Create and assign Actions to Action Profiles
SAP delivers predefined Action Profiles and Actions for Insights Management. However, there is one Action where the customer must make an additional entry, which cannot be delivered by SAP.
You have customized the partner functions for Insights Management.
The predefined Action Profiles delivered by SAP are:
- FAO: Action Profile for Facts/Observations
- INS: Action Profile for Insights
- FOI: (Common Profile) Action Profile for Facts/Observations & Insights
The predefined Actions delivered by SAP are:
- FOI_PRINT: Printing of Fact/Observations and Insights
- OWNER_NOTIFICATION: Notify Owner
The Dialog Structuredisplays the Action Profiletree structure.
- Double-click on the Action Profile in the tree structure to view a list of Actions Profiles.
- Choose the Action Profile FOI, which is the Action Profile for Facts/Observations&Insights.
- Double-click on Action Definitionin the tree structure.
- All the Action Definitions for the selected Action Profile are displayed.
- Double-click on the Action Definition OWNER_NOTIFICATION.
- The details for the Action Definition are displayed.
- Choose the Action Definition tab.
- Under the Partner Determination for Action, insert the partner function for the owner in the field Partner Funct.
- Note: Besides the entry mentioned above, do not change any other customizing settings in this activity.
To be able to use these Actions in the Insights Management application, you must schedule them. For more information, see Define Conditions.
